How is Mustard Seed Sports different than other youth sports training programs?

Mustard Seed Sports stands apart by blending top-tier athletic training with strong faith-based principles. While other programs focus solely on physical performance, we inspire athletes to grow spiritually, mentally, and physically. Through personalized coaching, biblical teachings, and a commitment to developing character, we help athletes unlock their full potential both on the field and in life. Our unique approach fosters discipline, confidence, and a deeper sense of purpose, empowering athletes to compete with excellence and honor God in all they do.

When and where are training sessions held?

Depending on the season, sessions will be held at a local park in Carrollwood or Lutz in the late afternoons for 75 minutes.  Our typical 6 week program will run Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:15 pm.

What does a typical session look like?

A typical Mustard Seed Sports training session blends high-energy physical drills with powerful faith-based inspiration. Athletes will start with dynamic warm-ups, followed by speed and agility exercises to improve quickness and footwork. Strength training using bodyweight and resistance exercises builds power, while performance drills focus on improving overall athleticism. Mid-session, we pause for a faith-based devotional, encouraging athletes to reflect on biblical principles like perseverance, discipline, and trusting God in all they do. The session concludes with a cool-down and prayer, empowering athletes to give their best on and off the field.

Can I try it out for free?

Absolutely!  We recommend coming by for a test trial and see if you like how we operate and if it would be a good fit to move forward with our program.
